Activism

I don't think that we can change the world overnight, but I think we can make intelligent choices to reduce our impact. I belive in what may be oxymoron: Passive Activism. Every one is driven by his/her interests, I just think we would be better off if our means were kinder and more compassionate.

I do not believe in any political agent or party. My political views waiver between the philosophy of libertarianism and libertarian socialism. I realize the role and importance of government for the greater good. Tiny individuals though can make a real difference. Almost everyone reading this page is presumed to be on the luckier side of the planet. I made this site to remind myself, and hopefully others that there is a bigger picture. We tend to forget it in the information that is bombarded on us daily. While we worry about which movie to watch, lot of the people on this planet worry if they are going to have dinner or are going to survive the night. I believe that open technologies and global non-governmental organizations and man himself can bring real change for the better. And eventually (hopefully) like Bill Hicks said we as humans together as one race can explore space both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

Take a stand. For we all the same. As the oft repeated lines from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy says: ..ape-descended life forms so amazingly primitive... on a utterly insignificant little blue green planet... . orbiting at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles of small unregarded star... Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of a tiny galaxy... lost in the sea of vastness that is the Universe. In this totally screwed up world that we live in, I still think that here is hope. And everything that we messed up can be fixed.
