the united states and russia have about 7000+ nuclear missiles between them each one so powerful that all of the city of new delhi can be wiped out of the map. obviously the world has not learned its lesson since the hiroshima. clearly we have forgotten the pain and suffering caused by the bomb.
nuclear proliferation is a major concern with despots and tyrants in command of nuclear biological and chemical weapons. we live in a very unsafe world. all becuase a few corporations or countries profit from it. there is no such thing as a nuclear deterrent. the stakes and risks of war are increased with the presence of nuclear weapons

we have enough nuclear bombs to blow each and every city on the planet 20 times |
but no one has a right to preach anyone to disarm. unless there is a complete and unilateral disarmament by everyone, i don't think that any of the controls are going to work. in this age of terrorism, it is all the more important for the world to renounce nuclear weapons. to ensure that they dont fall into wrong hands, we have make sure that they are destroyed first. because there can never be foolproof securiy.
the cost of war are staggering even amazing is the fact that the debt burden of 20 of the world's poorest countries could be lifted for the cost of just one military aircraft. the choice is obvious.
no one wins a war. everyone is at a loss. it is about time that we realise this. we have had enough of nuclear weapons. only innocent lives are needlessly lost in war for the pride and whims of politicians and the desicion makers. they dont know the true horror because they never have to go to the actual front line to fight. people are being misguided under the name of religion. no religion preaches violence. history repeats itself. so does war. almost every war fought on the planet was fought years ago and for the same reason. that i think is wrong. we call ourselves intelligent animals. then how can we be so dumb not to realise this. for there is no cause in this world that is worth taking the life of other person.
