clearly misunderstood.. is an effort on my part to consolidate my web presence. I have had this website for more than eleven years now. Over time it has been through a series of designs and redesigns and this one is yet another.
This new design is because of new beginnings and experiences. I call this design "Simplicity" and is partly inspired by BlueRobot and recent encounters with going back to school for studies. A lot of things have changed for me so it would be almost unfair if I did not change the website. It is released on March 2007.
I have tried to combine all the different parts of my website to give them a standardized look and feel, so that they run off a single template. I have been relatively successful at that. I tried be as standards compliant as possible but there are a lot of loose ends. I am just lazy but over time I should be able to fix the site.
This is my personal website which also doubles as my journal, my calendar, my photo album, my mail and file server. My views and opinions are expressed here and in no way do they represent the views or opinions of my employer, nor are they endorsed or approved by them in any way. This redesign has no particular version. I used to have a versioning system but I did away with that because it got complicated. This site is uploaded "as is" without any warranty for fitness for a particular purpose. I am not be liable for any data loss, damages, loss or profits or any other freaky stuff while using or misusing this site. This site is best viewed on any browser that is remotely standards compliant and can read CSS on 1024x768+ resolution screen.
This site uses a whole bunch of software: I use Movable Type for my journal and you can subscribe to the Atom or RSS feed to get the latest. This particular theme is mostly my creation. This site also uses Webcal as my calendar and Simple Picture Gallery Manager for the photos. I coded the CSS and PHP from scratch using Notepad and Bluefish. I have a MySQL database running behind this website serving content. I used Paint Shop Pro and Gimp for the images; a lot of time and some sweat was also spent during the coding. All pictures are taken on a Sony DSCP-31 by me.

This site is served from a server in Alberta, Canada running Apache/1.3.26, mod_perl/1.26 and PHP 5 on a FreeBSD system. One mirror sits on a server in Jersey City, New Jersey. It uses a lot of bandwidth, so I recommend a broadband connection. I used to have a text only site but I took it down.
