I just returned from my break. The trip is a lot more convenient from here.. it was nice and warm, a welcome break from the rain and wind. I remember the first time my Dad moved there, it was a very quintessential old place. A lot has changed and I was struck by it..

With all this move and other things. My Fedora related work is at a stand still. In the coming weeks hopefully I will be able to get in the swing of things. In the meantime I upgraded to Fedora Core 5 and decided to upgrade to every other release.. it is too much work.. plus it broke my nvidia driver.

My work is progressing slowly and I am getting more at home with the role and lingo. I have completed almost five months and it has been quite interesting. In the sense that a number of ideas about a company are broken and a number of them re enforced. I usually refrain from writing about work here but I am very tempted. Maybe that will change.

I am stuck with two PDAs now: the Clie and a imate. The best thing about the imate is that it is a phone too but the battery life sucks and the Sony is so incompatible with anything non-Sony it is frustrating.. I still use the Clie though because it runs on Palm and is compatible with my Web Calendar.

My DSL came in.. and it is noticably slow compared to cable but the most retarded thing is that they have monthly download and upload limits!!..

I rolled my eyes the last couple of races when Micheal Schumacher won. It is getting old already.
