Work is getting busy and busy by the day. In the next couple of months it is going to get busier. I had planned to update this once every month but with all the things going on, that did not happen. Anyway, we have already planned for weekend work in the coming weeks. The one thing I noticed about his job as compared to my previous job: I got physically tired in my last job but this job is mostly the eyes that get tired because otherwise it is just sitting on a chair and monitoring the systems.

I recently celebrated one year anniversary of me being here for the first time. I came here for the first time for an interview this time around. A year has gone and so much has changed. It seems like I have been living a completely different life.

After coming here though I have been introduced to the comedy of Bill Hicks.. I had listened to him during college but it seems like here he has a cult like following.. not that that is a bad thing. So much so that the other day I went to see a Bill Hicks "back from the dead" gig and it was quite funny.

I also bought a new Creative speaker system, it is pretty modest in its specs, but I think it is great value for the price. I have a customized emachines PC and these speakers were the last bit that I added.. Actually I am going to get a new sound card too now with better speakers.

I was out of the town over the weekend. It was a great time and I managed to catch The Blue Man group show. We bought the cheap tickets but the show was really good. I love the music both live and recorded. The trip in general was a blast and the weather held up pretty well. Among other things I managed to catch a Dali exhibition. So all in all it was a great weekend. Here are some photos:
